CLASS Clips

Here you find clips related to the CLASS model and the book Atmospheric Boundary Layer - Integrating Air Chemistry and Land Interactions. The first two introduction clips introduce the CLASS-model and the book. Ten instructions clips explain, thereafter the switches, variables and parameters in CLASS. Within the seven knowledge clips the theory of CLASS is explained.

Introduction to the Book and Clips

The first clip is a general introduction to the clips, the CLASS-model, the book and the atmospheric boundary layer. The second clip explains how to design an experiment with CLASS using the research cycle.

Instruction Clips: General

The three general clips show you how to run your first simulation, how to create your first graph and how to export data, so it is possible to upload it to Excel for example.

Instruction Clips: Information about the seven Tabs

Below the options of the seven tabs are explained, listed in the same order as in the CLASS model. Tabs can be connected. Therefore, it can be that within a clip a tab is referred to a tab that is later in this list.

Knowledge Clips

In the knowledge clips a very short introduction to the theory behind the CLASS model is given. In order to use the same motto as throughout the book: theory meets practice , these clips are linked to the hands-on nummerical experiments suggested in the book.
